What Readers Are Saying:
Who doesn't like a story about lost treasure? Mix in romance, villains, intrigue and families in this Biblical era who depend on God's provision through hard times as well as happy times and a cliffhanger to boot! Yes, I liked this book.
Can't wait to read the next chapter.
I am left dangling at the end of each chapter.
Captivating.
Ask the author.
How long have you been writing?
For many years. But for the fiction world, it has only been since January of 2024.
What's next?
I will finish the Prodigal Shepherd Series by spring 2026. I think I may return to expand The Lost Wise Man into a trilogy or maybe a new series based on a New Testament character with whom I really identify. I have outlined a four-book series and have written half of the first book.
Have you considered writing in other genres?
I think that every author feels the grass is greener in another genre. I am considering something in kid's fiction, but that would be years away. I love mysteries and am fascinated to consider writing a "Who done it?" But unless the right character and set pop into my mind. That may never happen.
Why are you drawn to Biblical Historical Fiction?
They say you write best what you love most. I love reading the Bible and consuming its truths. Blending those truths with fictional characters in a biblical setting is super fulfilling. When you laugh out loud at your characters or tears trickle down your cheek while you are alone with your story, you are either crazy or immersed. I guess you have to read more to decide which I am.
